Neutron Applications Workshop, 16-17 Dec 2019
Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (Public Organization) (TINT) in cooperation with ASEAN Large Nuclear and Synchrotron Facility Network (LNSN) is organizing an ASEAN training workshop on neutron applications in order to promote research collaboration utilizing nuclear research reactors among the ASEAN members. The Workshop is funded by ASEAN Science, Technology and Innovation Fund (ASTIF) and TINT.
The TRR-1/M1 is an open pool type TRIGA – Mark III using light water as a coolant, moderator, reflector and shield with concrete biological shield and four neutron beam tubes. The nominal power is 1 MW.
ASEAN Large Nuclear and Synchrotron Facility Network Meeting
The meeting was held on 7-10 Mar 2017 at Dusit Thani Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. The purposes of this meeting are
- To establish a network among ASEAN countries in the field of nuclear and synchrotron science and technology
- To promote the utilization of large nuclear and synchrotron facilities in the region
- To encourage nuclear and synchrotron research cooperation among the ASEAN members
- To enhance human resources capacity building and knowledge sharing regarding the operation, utilization and applications of large nuclear and synchrotron facilities
The 1st MEETING OF ASEAN LARGE NUCLEAR AND SYNCHROTRON NETWORK (LNSN)
Synchrotron Light Research Institute (SLRI) and Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT) in support of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) organised the “1st MEETING OF ASEAN LARGE NUCLEAR AND SYNCHROTRON NETWORK (LNSN)” at Grand Mercure Fortune Bangkok, Thailand during 25-26 September 2017 joining by over 25 invited participants from related ASEAN organizations.
